  1. What types of conveyor systems does Multi-Conveyor offer?

Multi-Conveyor designs and manufacturers both standard and custom conveyor systems – designed to our customer’s specifications and direct application. We offer quick ship and pre-engineered economical modular plastic chain Success line and sanitary plastic belt Slim-Fit for 24/7 reliability. We build custom engineered complex systems for accumulation, elevation, merge, divert, rotation, and more on a regular basis. Leading OEMs rely on Multi-Conveyor to product some of the packaging and material handling most revered conveyor systems.

  1. What industries and markets does Multi-Conveyor serve?

Multi-Conveyor caters to the packaging industry but provides conveyors for marketings including aerospace, automotive, beverage, craft brews, cannabis, dairy whey and cheese, food and food processing, industrial, personal care, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, industrial parts and products, home building, house hold products, pet food and supplies, OEM integration, paper and converting and much more. We excel in sanitary systems that meet or exceed hygienic requirements by authorized agencies for food grade and clean room environments.

  1. What kinds of construction materials and sanitary options are available?

Multi-Conveyor offers mild painted steel and highly requested stainless systems that meet FDA and 3A Dairy sanitary construction specifications. Our standard stainless steel conveyor frame is made from 11-gauge (11 ga.) thick material vs. a lower 12 gauge (12 ga.) that is used by our competition. We provide 2BN, #4 and #8 polish finish. The 2BN finish is used for applications where there is direct food contact. This is considered a sanitary finish. Sanitary welded designs are 7 ga. 2BN. In contrast, our low-profile, small transfer Slim-Fit line requires #8 mirror finish. No skimping on quality materials here at Multi-Conveyor!

  1. How does the quoting, RFQ or initial inquiry consultation process work?

Multi-Conveyor prefers that you start by filling out the RFQ Contact Us form on the website. Criteria needed to start the conveyor application assessment process would include:

1. Description of operation (what the conveyor is required to do)
2. Production information (product dimensions, weight, throughput rate)
3. Preferred construction (stainless steel or mild steel)
4. Sanitary or hygienic wash down requirements

5. Environment conditions (humidity, extreme temperatures, hazardous materials)

6. Is the conveyor accumulating or rotating, maneuvering products in an unique transport?
7. Will you be elevating or lowering products.
8. Do you require upfront electrical integration or electrical engineering control assistance to communicate with other OEM equipment on your line.

  1. What is the Warranty and Service or Support policy?

Multi-Conveyor is one of the only custom conveyor manufacturers that offers upfront technical support from the onset of the project. Starting at the design stage through FAT (factory acceptance testing) and even installation (when required), including mechanical, electrical and controls assistance. Standard warranty covers five (5) years on most manufactured parts or components. Purchased components carry the manufacturer’s original warranty. Onsite service may be warranty or paid depending on the age of the conveyor or special customer requests.

  1. Does Multi-Conveyor provide installation, start-up or maintenance services?

Yes. Multi-Conveyor can deliver full service from design through installation and start-up assistance as requested. We can provide maintenance and support, parts and troubleshooting. Multi-Conveyor promotes preventative maintenance suggestions for routine and annual conveyor health checks. We design low-maintenance systems with NTR (no tools required) belt changeovers for operator safety and easy of cleaning. We welcome partnerships with working integrators, OEMs, engineers and direct customer maintenance teams.

  1. What is the lead time for quick ship conveyor systems?

Multi-Conveyor knows their customers rely on our engineering teams to create and deliver standard or pre-engineered conveyors that do not require extensive engineering. These products include our Success Line and our Slim-Fit line. But, those conveyor systems are the foundation for many other conveyors that are custom designed with quick shipment turnaround. We keep the quick ship conveyor process simple by allowing the customer to choose the size length and curves necessary, yet deliver a reliable, long-term solution. These systems can take weeks to build vs. months that may be needed to integrate more elaborate custom systems.

  1. How can I order parts or get technical support for an existing system?

We encourage our customers to contact our parts department directly at [email protected] or call 800-236-7960 (or 920-582-7960), Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST. You can always fill out our Contact Form on the website as well.

Please have your existing job # available so we can easily reference your system. Job numbers can be found on a tag on the side of your existing conveyor. If you know your sales or project manager from your original equipment purchase, feel free to contact for service or support questions directly. Our team is always ready to help.

  1. Are the conveyor systems designed in the U.S.A. and made in the U.S.A.?

YES! Multi-Conveyor emphasizes that we are 100% American made at our facility in Winneconne, Wisconsin, USA. We design and build our systems domestically with nearly 100% of our parts also supplied by manufacturers in the USA. We are also a proud member of PMMI, the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute.

  1. What factors influence pricing of a conveyor system?

Some of the factors that typically affect cost may include:

These are just some of the variables that may affect conveyor cost. Multi-Conveyor does not build out-of-the-box conveyors – we build YOUR conveyor.

  1. What advantages does Multi-Conveyor claim compared to other manufacturers?

When it comes to custom conveyors, the buck stops here. Multi-Conveyor systems are multiple and unique. We build application specific, complete line conveyors from concept to installation that will accumulate, rotate, elevate, lift-gate, incline, combine, decline, alpine, grip, flip, split, invert, divert, merge, twist, turn, curve, transfer, push, stack, reject, hand pack, serpentine and more.

Our mechanical engineers design common sense basic systems to what seems like unimaginable custom conveyor requests. We factor in product stability, equipment footprint, operator safety, sanitation (when called for), future growth and overall cost. Our unsurpassed electrical engineers are wizards at line control from beginning to end, process to pallet.

Integrated technology-driven operator-to-controls communications, HMI interface and servos provide faster more efficient changeovers. Adaptability to various shapes, weights and sizes allows flexibility to match our solutions to your products for increased throughput and future expansion.

Yet, standard quick ship solutions for quicker deployment are commonly purchased for ease of use and simplistic maintenance and 24/7 workhorse reliability.

Industry leading OEM's repeatedly come to us because they know our systems are quality built to spec. That’s longevity. No job is too big or too small.

  1. How can I get started with a new project?

The quickest ways to get a project started is by filling out this form: /contact-us

  • Call 800-236-7960 (or 920-582-7960) will put you in touch with a salesperson, but we will most likely need all of the parameters in the above link to get started.
  • For existing customers, please reach out to your original sales person, distributor, rep or project manager (if known).
  • Be prepared to submit basic project information (see FAQ 4. above)
  • Have all drawings, concept designs and quote details ready prior to reaching out to Multi-Conveyor please.
  • Research agency mandated requirements i.e. FDA, WDA, 3A, sanitation, etc. before you contact us. Retrofitting a conveyor for sanitary construction or agency requirements after the design and built stage will significantly increase your overall costs. Due diligence.
  • If you’re needing to replace an existing conveyor system from Multi-Conveyor, please locate the job number from the tag located on the existing conveyor which we’ll use as a reference point to begin new conveyor discussions. Chat soon.
