Mobile Bottling Conveyor Contoured to a Trailer

Only our expert Engineers could pull this one off ...
and they did!

Multi-Conveyor was approached by a reputable wine industry integrator in search of complex conveyor engineering. Our team of decades-experienced engineers were the only conveyor manufacturer willing to take on that challenge – and it paid off.  This is the second of two mobile bottling lines for the same customer - with more planned in the future.

The video, which toggles between Multi-Conveyor’s plant during the build stage and initial install, shows how the bottles weave through curves and transfers in the shape of the line that will eventually be assembled inside the trailer. Very tight chain to chain transfers ensure bottle stability throughout. Everything on this line pushes the limits of conveyor possibilities.

An operator will empty a case of bottles onto a stainless steel table. A nudge sends them onto our miniature single filer to the combo rinser, filler & sparger (to displace oxygen prior to corking).  The challenge? To interface with the customer’s existing equipment that had intermediate unique conveyor sections already built into the monoblock filler and labeler ahead. Our team showed extreme flexibility by adjusting cross-sections to accommodate an unusal metric design.

The corked and foil wrapped bottles then travel through custom curves to the integrated labeler, and single-lane back to the door of the trailer for manual repacking into the original bottle case. Filmed during installation, you see the system is modified for flush mounting wherever possible.

Towards the end of the line, we purposely slow down the transport section line speed prior to an end stop. The slower speeds alleviate high-speed glass bottle collision.

Bottom line? Multi-Conveyor is willing to take on conveyor challenges that others may not.
