GoPro on 2 conveyor loops - 10 technologies
... let's ride!

Multi-Conveyor displayed over 10 conveyor technologies on two separate conveyor loops at a recent Pack Expo show.

Loop 1 showcased Slim-Fit (sanitary), Success Line (standard chain) and ModSort (roller belt) technologies. The box slides smoothly across the Slim-Fit, tool-less, pre-engineered low profile conveyor onto our quick-ship, also pre-engineered Success Line standard plastic chain then to the ModSort. Both the Slim-Fit and Success Line are fast becoming industry standards.

Watch conveyor Loop 1 from the lens of a GoPro. We start on a smooth transfer from the Slim-Fit onto our Success Line where we take a curve and ultimately end up at the MDR technology driven ModSort by SystemPlast. The ModSort is guiderail-free, programmable and easy to integrate. The low noise, low voltage system can transfer, divert, sort and reorient a variety of shapes and sizes. Our Slim-Fit is tool-less, sanitary, hygienic and perfect for wash down conditions.

Conveyor technology Our second conveyor (Loop 2) features Bump Turn, Dual Lane Turner, ARB, Plastic Table-Top Chain, Plastic Mat-Top Belting, LBP and Micropitch Transfers and PanelView Plus Controls. The bump turn and dual lane product turners use a simplistic approach for 90 degree turns. Angled roller belt or ARB, by Intralox, can align, merge, sort, divert or change direction without guides. Let's take a ride on loop 2.

We start on the dual lane product turner, then go over the tight transfer micropitch to the mat top belt curve. We'll bump turn 90 degrees and LBP transition to a left-justified ARB, where we then LBP onto the table top plastic chain and start all over again. The orientation belts, plastic chain, plastic belt, micropitch tight transfers and LBP (low back pressure) transitions are all controlled with a PanelView Plus VFD touch screen control panel located adjacent to the ARB roller belt.
