Sqrounds Need Some Accumulation?

Multi-Conveyor (Winneconne, WI) - recently built a bolted construction wipe-down rated stainless steel first-in-first-out (FIFO) accumulator for full spice bottles in serpentine configuration.
Sqround and round bottles of herbs and spices travel through a 45 degree curve then enter a serpentine accumulation table conveyor system. Product will travel back and forth, with a gap between them, through the entire length of the table repeatedly, before ultimately transferring onto a customer supplied existing x-ray system.
In the event the upstream equipment is stopped or stalled for any reason, the square or round glass-filled product containers will accumulate against a customer’s existing metering starwheel, filling the table until a supplied photo-eye determines that the conveyor is full.
Watch as this serpentine configurations allows for a large volume of backpressure-sensitive products to accumulate in single file in a relatively small footprint. Bottle shape and size variations lead our designers to come up with simple, removable UHMW product turn guide or corner assists to allow for quick changeover between bottle sizes.
Multi-Conveyor provided custom infeed and discharge transport conveyor sections to add this accumulation ability to the existing line without heavy modification or moving of equipment.
